Transtar Industries Hires Chief Human Resources Officer

Most recently with E.P. Management Corp., Ben DePompei has more than 20 years' experience in the field of human resources.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Transtar Industries Inc. has named Ben DePompei as chief human resources officer and vice president of corporate human resources.

“I’m excited to be a part of this growing company,” DePompei said. “I see this as an opportunity to leverage the proud history of Transtar’s entrepreneurship and industry excellence and contribute to the company’s next chapter of growth.”
 
“Ben offers us a wealth of knowledge,” said Greg Gyllstrom, Transtar’s CEO. “His experience will allow us to effect best practices across our organizations.”
 
DePompei is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has attended INSEAD Global Executive Management Program in France. He will be working out of Transtar’s home office in the Cleveland suburb of Walton Hills, Ohio, and his family will be relocating to the area.
