SOUTH BEND, Ind. — TireRack.com has announced a new online enhancement designed to make the tire buying experience simpler, faster and more efficient for consumers.
The new feature consolidates access to TireRack.com’s three consumer tire research pages, Surveys, Reviews and Tests, which were previously separate sections. Now customers can navigate through TireRack.com’s tire performance comparisons and more than 150,000 consumer surveys and results.
Tire Rack, family-owned and headquartered in South Bend, Ind., is one of America’s largest independent tire testers and a consumer-direct source for tires, wheels and performance accessories. Their team of 90-plus test drivers (their sales team) tests tires from every major tire manufacturer on the company’s state-of-the-art, 10-acre test facility. The findings are then posted on the company’s Web site, www.tirerack.com, where consumers can make an educated decision on a tire, wheel or performance accessory purchase. Tire Rack has also collected results from more than 150,000 consumer surveys representing over 2.6 billion miles of real-world tire data, the largest known cache of such information anywhere, says the company. In addition various testing and informational videos are available online in their Video Center at www.tirerack.com/videos/index.jsp.
“Constantly evolving to provide an easier and more educational tire buying experience for consumers is a key focus at TireRack.com,” said Matt Edmonds, vice president at TireRack.com. The new online enhancement is putting the most sought-after tire research information at consumer’s fingertips.”
