A new nationwide program that helps victims of domestic violence and abuse gain their freedom through the donation of refurbished cars has been launched by Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper. This unprecedented vehicle gift program is sponsored by the warehouses, parts stores and certified service centers flying the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper flags. Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, parent company of Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper, announced the new program yesterday at AAPEX.

Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper hosted its sixth annual National Advisory Councils for its parts stores and certified service centers on Oct. 11 -12, in San Antonio, TX. Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc., representing Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper, has announced the appointment of three certified service center owners to the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association’s (AAIA) new Car Care Professional Network (CCPN). Mick Cipolla, owner of Courteous Car Care, Largo, FL, and Tom Lund, owner of Tom’s Automotive Maintenance and Alta View Tires, Sandy, UT, both conducting business as Bumper to Bumper and Jim Dykstra, co-owner of Dykstra’s Auto Service, Hudsonville, MI, using the Auto Value brand, have all been named to the CCPN.

This year 32 selected students each received $500 to use at the school of their choice.
