Pronto Presents Centric Parts with 2009 Supplier of the Year, Partnership Awards

The awards ceremony on Sept. 24 was held as part of the 2009 National Pronto Association Fall Shareholder's Conference & Expo, which attracted hundreds of member warehouse and vendor attendees.

LOS ANGELES — Centric Parts, a manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake components and systems for import and domestic cars, as well as light and medium trucks, has been presented the 2009 Supplier of the Year Award and 2009 Partnership Award by the National Pronto Association. The awards were decided upon by votes by the organization’s membership.
 
"Centric Parts is honored for this recognition that our ‘Right Part, Right Place, Right Time’ philosophy gives National Pronto Association members a competitive advantage they can use," said Mike Musso, Centric Parts’ vice president of sales, during an award ceremony in San Antonio. "The support Centric Parts has received in return makes our business relationship a partnership."

The Partnership Award recognizes Centric Parts for the company’s efforts to help to grow sales and profitability through support and an ability to manage member’s local marketplace issues. Voters cited Centric Parts’ field support, product expertise and quick, efficient cataloging when casting their ballots.
 
The Supplier of the Year Award recognizes Centric Parts for working the hardest to ensure "mutual success" for the shareholders, exemplifying excellence and performance. Factors mentioned by the shareholders during the voting process included best catalog and products, being first to market, strong margins and a great sales team.
