Wayne Xing of China Business Update to Present Opening Address at GAAS

Wayne Xing, Ph.D, editor and publisher of China Business Update (CBU), will give the opening address at the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS), which takes place Wednesday and Thursday, May 11-12, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. Xing is the founder of CBU, a publishing, market intelligence and consulting firm in operation since 1994. Based in Amherst, Mass., CBU has offices in Beijing and Shanghai as well as correspondents and research associates in major automotive manufacturing cities in China.

Global Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Fund Received Record Donations in 2004

The Global Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship program, funded through the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS), received more than $20,000 in corporate and individual donations in 2004, helping the program award a record 145 scholarships of $1,000 to students planning aftermarket careers, and to sons and daughters of industry families.
