Hopkins Names J. Scott Mosteller As SVP Of Operations

Most recently, he was the corporate vice president of Supply Chain for Genuine Parts Co. (GPC).

Hopkins Manufacturing Corp. has announced the addition of J. Scott Mosteller as senior vice president – Operations. Mosteller will have responsibility for all supply chain, manufacturing and distribution operations for Hopkins, including those in Emporia and Edgerton, Kansas; Miami, Oklahoma; Juarez, Mexico; Ningbo, China; and Blenheim, Ontario. Mosteller will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory investment and optimizing costs across the system.

Mosteller brings to Hopkins an exceptional background in operations, including experience in the automotive aftermarket. This experience spans operations in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia in sourcing, distribution and manufacturing. Most recently, he was the corporate vice president of Supply Chain for Genuine Parts Co. (GPC). Mosteller was with GPC for 13 years, including time in a newly acquired business in Australia and as president of their Rayloc Division. Prior to GPC, he owned his own sourcing and distribution consulting firm. He also has held a number of operational positions with the Russell Corp., DeSoto Mills, Simpson Performance Products and Sara Lee.

Hopkins, based in Emporia Kansas since 1953, is one of the top sellers of vehicle cleaning tools, towing electrical, fluid management tools and winter snow and ice products in North America.
