MOKENA, Ill. Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW’14) organizers are reporting record-breaking registrations from exhibiting suppliers for the 2014 conference, with a 10 percent YTD increase in the number of supplier-company exhibitors from the previous year.
With 433 booths already reserved for the 2014 conference, HDAW organizers announced that, for the first time in the event’s nine-year history, the event has completely sold all available booth spaces during the first week of November with a waiting list of suppliers still hoping to get into the conference.
"We are thrilled by the new records we are setting for participation from the supplier community, even over and above the 2013 record breaking numbers,” said Tom Otter, HDAW’14 co-chairman. “We really see this as an indicator of the positive economic conditions in the heavy-duty aftermarket, as well as the appreciation of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week as the place to be in January for our industry.”
According to HDAW’13 survey results, suppliers plan to use the HDAW Product Expo to introduce their latest products, technology and programs as well as to promote new services. HDAW’14 provides heavy-duty suppliers the opportunity to showcase their product lines to top heavy-duty aftermarket distributors in the U.S.
Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy-duty aftermarket industry. More than 2,000 executives and managers from the U.S., Canada and six other countries including distributors, suppliers, service providers, educators and industry media attended the 2013 conference in Las Vegas.
