Eaton Appoints New Navistar Global Account Director

Shane Groner joined Eaton in 2003 and has held numerous roles with the Roadranger Field Marketing organization and Eaton's Truck business. In his new role, Groner will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of global production and aftermarket sales strategies for Navistar and Caterpillar across the world.

GALESBURG, Mich. – Eaton Corp. has named Shane Groner Navistar global account director, reporting to Ignacio Aguerrevere, director of OEM Sales for Eaton’s Truck business. Groner most recently served as manager of development and product planning for NAFTA.
 
In his new role, Groner will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of global production and aftermarket sales strategies for Navistar and Caterpillar across the world. He will continue to be based in Galesburg, Mich.
 
“Shane’s diverse background and experience will serve our business and Navistar’s well as he takes on this new role,” said Aguerrevere. “Shane brings a wealth of experience across the entire trucking industry and an intimate knowledge of Eaton’s Truck business.”
 
Groner joined Eaton in 2003 and has held numerous roles with the Roadranger Field Marketing organization and Eaton’s Truck business, having worked in engineering, technical service and product planning. Groner earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Western Michigan University and an MBA degree from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.
