Dayco Expands Timing Category Product Offerings, Releases Nearly 500 New Part Numbers

Dayco is now offering water pump kits with seals, timing belt kits with seals and timing seal kits. These three kits are in addition to Dayco's current timing product offerings.

TULSA, Okla. – Dayco Products has announced the release of three new product categories in its timing belt product line.

Dayco is now offering water pump kits with seals, timing belt kits with seals and timing seal kits. These three kits are in addition to Dayco’s current timing product offerings. Dayco says it will continue to offer timing belt kits and water pump kits without seals. Depending on the application, kits may include a timing belt, balance shaft belt, tensioners, pulleys, hydraulic tensioners, water pumps, gaskets and, with this addition, seals.

“Dayco is one of the largest timing belt manufacturers in the world for both the original equipment and automotive aftermarket. With the addition of seals to our timing product kits, Dayco increases our coverage in the market with a continued focus on quality and application engineering,” said Ed Rammel, president of the North American and Australian aftermarket divisions of Dayco.

For automotive applications, Dayco has increased its application coverage by more than 147 million with the addition of these new kits, totaling nearly 500 new part numbers, including:

  • Water pump kits with seals – 138 total part numbers covering 39 million vehicles-in-operation
  • Timing belt kits with seals – 225 total part numbers covering 54 million vehicles-in-operation
  • Timing seal kits – 104 total part numbers covering 54 million vehicles-in-operation

“The addition of stand-alone timing seal kits allows Dayco to continue to offer increased coverage with less inventory,” said David Riggs, senior product manager at Dayco.

All parts are now available through Dayco’s distributors throughout North America. For more information, visit www.dayco.com.
