Continental’s Catalog Team Earns Award For Data Excellence

This will mark the third time the CVAM catalog team has won the award - first in 2008/2009, again in 2011/2012 and now in 2013/2014.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Continental’s Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket (CVAM) business unit catalog team received the President’s Award for Electronic Data Excellence at the recent 2014 National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) conference in Chandler, Ariz. This will mark the third time the CVAM catalog team has won the award – first in 2008/2009, again in 2011/2012 and now in 2013/2014.

The President’s Award for data excellence, the highest level of recognition from the NCMA, was presented to Continental’s Mark Berner, catalog manager, and Rick Raveau, catalog analyst, by a representative from O’Reilly Auto Parts.

“Our aftermarket catalog team strives to provide its customers with the cleanest, most accurate, reliable and up-to-date data in the industry,” said Howard Laster, head of the independent aftermarket, CVAM, NAFTA region. “We continue to recognize that we’re only as good as the data we provide and that missing or inaccurate data results in lost sales. This award showcases the quality of workmanship that our business unit is dedicated to providing in the aftermarket segment and having it presented to us by our valued customer, O’Reilly Auto Parts, made it more special. Continental sells high-quality parts, so our customers expect that we also provide high-quality data.”
