MOKENA, Ill. – The organizers of HDAW’14 have announced that Scott McKain, best-selling author and world-renowned business expert, will kick off the ninth annual conference, themed “Driving Energy Into the Industry’s Future." McKain will present the keynote address at the opening general session, setting the stage for the four-day conference to be held Jan. 27-30, 2014, at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
 
McKain’s presentation, titled "Create Distinction," is based on his recent book “Create Distinction: What to Do When ‘Great’ Isn’t Good Enough to Grow Your Business." The original edition was named by 30 major newspapers as one of the “Ten Best Business Books” of the year. In his presentation, McKain will outline why it is difficult for customers to distinguish one competitor from another. He will then go on to share specific steps organizations and professionals must take to create distinction and establish competitive superiority in the marketplace.
 
McKain has presented his business strategies on FOX News Network, among other telecasts and on platforms in all 50 states and 17 countries and has been honored with induction into the "Professional Speakers Hall of Fame."
