The CLARCOR Achievement Award is given to select individuals employed by CLARCOR companies who have exhibited behavior that embodies the values and philosophies of CLARCOR.

Castillo and Karstens, both international customer service and logistics administrators for the company, were nominated for actively quoting and negotiating freight terms resulting in significant savings for the company.

"These two individuals take great pride in their work and are enthusiastic in realizing savings for the company," said Steve Zimmerman, manager, International Product Management and PMO, who nominated the pair.

Von Seggern, design engineer, air filter engineering, was nominated for the award for his work with the company’s Channel Flow product line. During his three-year tenure with the company, Von Seggern also has filed for three patents for air filter design.

"He has embedded himself in every facet of the Baldwin organization. His peers recognize the extraordinary effort he puts forth. It is this type of commitment and effectiveness that is so worthy of recognition," said Jeff Rogers, manager, Air Filter Engineering, who nominated Von Seggern for the honor.

Wilkins, human resources generalist in the company’s Gothenburg, Neb., facility, was recognized for her efforts during the company’s transition in payroll systems across three facilities, as well as ongoing projects.

"Throughout the transition period, she did a fantastic job of ensuring that our payroll system transition was seamless for our employees. While she was away from Gothenburg, she remained in constant contact with the employees (in Gothenburg) and made sure that all special and regular human resources functions went off without a hitch," said Brian Riley, plant manager at Gothenburg, who recommended Wilkins for the award.
