MIAMI LeaseTrader.com has released the results of its Spring Cleaning Clean Car Survey, which reveals that Audi A6 drivers have the cleanest cars in America. The online survey of more than 2,000 drivers also found that Honda Accord drivers have the most clutter in their vehicles.
To acknowledge the annual “Spring Cleaning” season, LeaseTrader.com polled customers and asked drivers of each major vehicle brand a series of questions relating to the amount of clutter found in their vehicle at any given time, as well as the frequency and time in between cleanings of the exterior and interior of their cars. Minivan and SUV drivers were not included since these vehicles are more often used for families that have a higher propensity for clutter.
According to the survey, the top five cleanest vehicles today in America are:
1) Audi A6
2) BMW 5 Series
3) Mercedes C Class
4) Infinity M35X
5) Lexus ES
In its poll, LeaseTrader.com found that 35 percent of men claim they wash their car once every two weeks, while the number was 22 percent for women. The majority of men claim to have “a few extra papers and limited household items” for car clutter; while the majority of women have “multiple household items, makeup and paperwork” for car clutter. “Household items” for this survey include pens, CDs, snacks, etc.
March 20 is the first official day of spring and millions of people spend the month cleaning unwanted items from their houses, garages and cars. LeaseTrader.com works with people who wish to (spring) clean up their finances by helping them escape a car lease they no longer want. The Lease Transfer Program allows a person to list their vehicle for $79 and transfer the remaining portion of the lease to a credit-qualified individual for just $149.
