During the month of June, aftermarketNews will be presenting the esteemed 2024 Class of AMN’s Women at the Wheel. From trailblazers who have helped create departments and even entire companies, to those who ensure their office runs like a well-oiled machine, this year’s group of 26 is full of authentic leaders, each with a story to tell.
Mentorship and programming have united women throughout the aftermarket, serving as a springboard for them to enter the industry and grow their roles into successful careers. They are sparking change and driving results, together.
Today’s honoree is Autumn Lamb, marketing manager at GSP North America.
Proudest career accomplishment: Over the past five years, I have steered our marketing initiatives to their current state. I am driven by ambition, constantly seeking new knowledge, exploring fresh opportunities and embracing challenges. I persist in working diligently and letting my actions speak for themselves.
Industry support of women in the aftermarket: Numerous companies are implementing mentorship programs, organizing networking events tailored for women, providing scholarships for education and training, and actively engaging in industry groups like Women in Auto Care. Personally, I am honored to serve on the leadership council for Women in Auto Care. I cherish the opportunity to contribute to and be a member of such a positive environment.
How the aftermarket can do better to support women: Emphasizing the significance of company culture, teamwork and allies is crucial. We cannot navigate this journey in isolation, and success is the result of collective collaboration rather than individual achievement. It is imperative that we champion, uplift and empower women in the industry to shatter glass ceilings.
In Monday’s edition of aftermarketNews, we’ll feature Liesl Larouche, director of partner success at RevolutionParts.
