SEMA Announces Board of Directors’ Election Results

The board members are elected by SEMA-member companies and represent the key membership categories: manufacturers, distributors/retailers, manufacturers’ rep, and services.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) announced the results of the 2024-2025 SEMA Board of Directors’ elections.

Bill Bader of Summit Motorsports Park, Doug Lane of Motor State Distributing, Kelle Oeste of V8TV Speed & Resto Shop, Kim Pendergast of Magnuson Superchargers, and Melissa Scoles of QA1 were elected to the Board. Pendergast is a current SEMA Board member who was re-elected to join the group.

SEMA said its board members are industry representatives who volunteer their time to lead and guide the Association. They are elected by SEMA-member companies and represent the key membership categories: manufacturers, distributors/retailers, manufacturers’ rep, and services.

The SEMA Board of Directors for 2024-2025 will be as follows:

MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announced the appointment of Tara Cevallos, CEO of Goodyear Belts, as the 2024 chair of the Overseas Automotive Council (OAC). This historic appointment marks Cevallos as the second woman to ever hold the position in the council's over 100-year history. A second-generation member of the OAC, her leadership is anticipated to bring fresh perspectives and continued success to the council, MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers said.In her role at Goodyear Belts, Cevallos has successfully steered the startup through challenges including the COVID-19 pandemic, playing a pivotal role in establishing Goodyear Belts as a prominent player in the industry, MEMA said. Under her leadership, Goodyear Belts earned recognition from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as one of its top 10 licenses by the end of 2023.
