Bosal Appoints Aad Goudriaan as New CEO

Goudriaan joins the Bosal Group on April 1, from European commercial truck manufacturer DAF Trucks N.V., where he was president and vice-president of PACCAR Inc.
LUMMEN, Belgium -- The Bosal Group has appointed Aad Goudriaan as its new chief executive officer. Goudriaan joins the Bosal Group on April 1, from European commercial truck manufacturer DAF Trucks N.V., where he was president and vice-president of PACCAR Inc.


Karel Bos, chairman of the Bosal Group, commented, “I am delighted to welcome Aad in the Bosal Group. He has a proven track record in leading an international technology company, especially in the recent challenging times. Aad and I have a similar way of approaching business opportunities and challenges. I look forward to having him on board and taking the helm. The Bosal Group’s long-term vision is to continue to develop opportunities in emerging markets and create innovative product lines that cut emissions and increase vehicle versatility.”

Goudriaan studied at the Nautical Technical College in Rotterdam and holds an MBA from Nijenrode University. He joined DAF Trucks N.V. in 1987 and held various managerial positions in logistics, manufacturing and marketing and sales, before being appointed president of the business in 2004.
